Technology from Earth to space

We had already known that the technology in the earth is developing in every second of life. Humans are getting more facilities these days. We have automatic air conditioner, automatic driving cars, mobiles, and special satellites. Technology has provided us various energies. Solar devices that absorbs sunlight and can be used in vehicles. Today we have solar car that starts with solar energy. Similarly we have solar batteries that can be used fro many purposes. Calculator, a different type of machine that calculates addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in just a couple of seconds, has many types. One for businessman, the other for scientist and students. The calculator for businessman is just a simple and can be found anywhere. But the calculator for scientist is different from the simple one. In this type of calculator we can solve vectors, matrices, complex numbers, differentiation, integration and many other problems. These calculators are useful for any students- science, management, arts, etc. There are values of scientific constants, values of conversions like meters to feet, kilometers to mile, joule to calorie, and many other and their vice versa.
Technology has given us different forms of energies like wind energy for production of electricity also water resources can be helpful for electricity. Today we have hundreds of channels in our television connected directly to our home with the help of satellites. ‘Satellite’ is an electronic device that is sent into space and moves around the earth or another planet. It is used for communicating by radio, television, etc. and for providing information. The word satellite can be understand by two meanings- one as an electronic device, the other as natural object that moves around the larger natural object in space. For example- The Moon is a satellite of Earth. ‘Satellite dish’ is a piece of equipment that receives signal from a satellite, used to enable people to watch satellite television. ‘Satellite station’ is the company that broadcasts television programs using a satellite. It can also be defined as the place where special equipment is used to follow the movements of satellites and receive information from them. Satellites are first attached with the rockets and are launched in the space. During crossing the atmospheric layers of the Earth, the outer portion gets out and the main satellite is freely allowed to move in the space. The movement of satellite is controlled from the satellite station. Such satellites give information about the weather report and searches for new planets and lives. Scientists are searching new planets and lives in the other planet.
From our school level’s we have been learning that there are millions of galaxies in the space. Among them one is the Milky Way galaxy where our solar system is located. Our solar system- it’s a family of nine planets and a star called as the Sun. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are the members our solar system. The Sun is at the centre and these nine planets revolve round the sun. Mercury is the nearest planet to the Sun. And the distance increases with Venus, Earth, and so on. The only life in this solar system is at Earth. No other planets have sufficient atmosphere, environment, gravity and temperature suitable for life.
From recent study it has been declared that a new solar system has been found that has the star similar to Sun and planet similar to Earth. The planet duplicate to earth has been found. European scientist who had been searching lives in the space has found this planet and named as ‘Glees 581 c’. A 3.6 meter diameter telescope in European southern observatory was used for searching it. This planet is about 50 times larger than Earth and Billions of light years away from Earth. Scientists are saying that as Earth revolves round the Sun, Glees 581 c also revolves round a ‘Red Dwarfs’ star. This Glees planet is almost similar to the Earth. It has also too many mountains and hills so there may be possibility of having maximum water sources. It has atmosphere and gravity nearest to the Earth it is guessed that there can be lives also. The Red dwarfs star has temperature as that of Sun. The other research and information is being collected about this new family. The declaration of this new planet has been considered as great success in the field of technology.
