Technology has changed our daily life in so many ways that it gets hard to remember the old and past days that out great grandfather’s generations found ways to reach others, stay up-to-date, and do their jobs without the technology just an imagination. Here are some technologies that played vital role for the change of the world.
RFID and applications
RFID stands for radio frequency in devices. Long ago, the best company Nike used radio frequency device to show us how fast we're running, the technology was also used in World War II radar systems. It helped the armies and military men during war with other countries. In the 1980s, everyone was supposed to use the toll payment system that enabled speedsters everywhere the ability to fly through tolls.
GUI
GUI stands for graphical user interface. In 1968 Douglas Engle art first invented the graphical user interface. And from 1978 to 1984 the newly and well designed advanced GUI were introduced by Apple, a well known technology company. This made easy working with icons, graphics and the use of mouse. It made easy to remember bunch of computer commands by the help of graphical controls.

Social networking is a website that connects us with other social people and unknown friends. For example social networking can be done by visiting place to place making new friends and knowing other social behavior. Today by the help go technology we should not go any where. By the help of internet we can do social networking. It has just been introduced in the world of technology. In 1997 SixDegrees.com was introduced and is earliest social network website. But for its company MySpace, a new social networking site was introduced in 2003. Then slowly social networking started growing in number of masses. Today we have Yahoo, Msn, Google talk, Face book, Mig33, Twitter etc. These networking sites give us endless opportunity to meet new friends, which empowers us to become our own paparazzi by dropping life tidbits, wisdom, and our comings and goings to our anxious followers.
Online shopping
What will we do when we need some new dress, or some food? It’s obvious we go for shopping. There are many super markets and other small shops for shopping. Today these super markets are growing in every corner of the street. We can find everything we want such as electronic machines, clothes, books and many other things. Sometimes it gets boring shopping from place to place and carry those things, isn’t it? Today technology has given us online shopping facility. We should not go from place to place or carry the huge shopping things. What we want can be search in internet and order it. The facility of online shopping is also for home delivery and the payment is done by credit card or visa card. The online shopping centre is Amazon, eBay and other online stores. No stress to barking with storekeeper, traffic etc. All credit goes to internet; it has worked as a god in human life.
Mobile phones
A new, but well known techno product, Mobile phones. As discussed earlier today mobile phones has reached there where no one could ever think about that. Just have a look at your tiny small phone in your pocket. It’s not just a tiny phone; it is a music player, camera, computer, and now TV also. The combination of all these machines is introduced as a cell phone.
PC/ laptop computers
The world of science and technology without computers is not possible. The year for computers began with the huge machines and slowly it decreased its size and reached to laptop computer, a portable computer. The big CRT personnel computers developed into LCD computers and later on further developed in laptop computers. The world has changed its living style. Today teachers are teaching from laptop computers and students are learning from them far better easily.
Internet/broadband/WWW
The main reason for the changing of world is internet. Every thing changed because of the internet facility. Shopping, chatting, billing, studying etc everything can be done in internet from only one place. The addiction towards internet is growing day by day. Today the school level students use internet far better than young ones.
